We will build a 250 way over the skies of Skydive Chicago in August of 2025 and set a new Illinois state large formation record!
A little background information about the event: the current record was set by Roger Nelson in 1998 with a 246-way, and at the time it was a World Record as well as a State and National record. Our number to achieve will be 250 this will be the largest formation attempted since the 400-way in 2006. The record attempts will coincide with the next Vertical World Record Attempts - this will make for a very fun and busy event for all parties.
We have assembled an amazing Organizing team lead by Doug Barron, he will be joined by the following captains.

To be considered you need to have completed at least one 100+way formation and have positive recommendations from at least one of the captains listed. Over the next year the organizing team will hold events where you can qualify for this record attempt.
We will be using SkyCru to manage registrations and event communications for this event.
