Wild brown bears, wolverines, and wolves in the Finnish wilderness.
Join us at one of the most iconic places in Finland for photographing wild brown bears, wolverines, and wolves. This location attracts many bears, wolves, and wolverines. A wolf pack is established in the area, so there is always a chance to get wolf pups in front of the lens during summer.
You will be photographing from various hides strategically placed to give you different scene choices each day. The distance to the animals will vary between the multiple locations. You should bring a wide range of lenses to cover the different distances. We will arrive at the hides around 5:00 pm each evening and set up our gear. We will stay in the hides until the early morning to ensure we photograph the animals when they are the most active under the best lighting situations. The hides have bunk beds and mattresses if you need a rest.
During the day, there is accommodation on the property where we will enjoy our meals and a presentation area where we will conduct image reviews and editing sessions. Daytime is also time to sleep, as we spend our nights in the hides.
