EXCITING NEWS!!!
The Stanford Bachata Social and Dance class is BACK!!!
The Stanford Bachata Social is a great way to meet new friends, have fun and learn dancing Bachata, a sensual Latin dance that has grown tremendously in popularity over the last couple of years.
Omid and Ariana, the directors of Bachata Sentimiento Dance Company will be teaching a free Bachata dance class. No partner or experience is necessary. During the class we will be rotating partners so everyone gets to dance with everyone. Everyone is welcome for this class and the party!
So come and join us for a fun and exciting night of Bachata dancing.
8pm-9pm: Bachata dance class
9pm-12pm: Social dance party, where you can practice what you learned in the class.
While there is no cover charge at the door, we are paying the cost to rent the venue. We have a donation box available at the studio and everyone can choose if and how much they would like to donate (we recommend a $5 donation per person).
Feel free to bring your friends and help spread the word by inviting your friends via Facebook!
If you have never seen Bachata dancing before, take a look at this video to get the flavor of it:
