Kids to Parks Day

Explore & play in nature on Kids to Parks Day! Kids to Parks Day is a nationally celebrated day of outdoor play designed to connect kids and families with their local, state, and national parks. On this day, events are hosted across the country that promote discovery and exploration in the great outdoors. We’re luck enough to be hosting our own Kids to Parks day with a Student Ambassador from the National Park Trust, Everleigh Murphy!

We’ll be celebrating the day by unveiling our new nature library created in collaboration with Everleigh! Visitors will be able to create their own nature bookmarks, listen to a nature-themed storytime with Everleigh, and head out on the trails with the new books from the library.

This event is FREE to attend and no registration is required. This program is open to all ages including families and children.
