Along the way, you'll learn techniques for mixing, shaping, baking, and decorating cookies while discovering the traditions behind each recipe.Working in pairs, each station will prepare a different cookie recipe with Chef Amy's guidance. Once the baking is complete, everyone will gather for a holiday cookie exchange, sampling a variety of cookies and learning simple tips for arranging and packaging them for gift giving.Each student will receive a decorative cookie box to fill with an assortment of every cookie made in class, creating a beautiful edible gift to take home, share with family and friends, or leave out for Santa.While the cookies bake, enjoy light appetizers and prepare a featured holiday mocktail or cocktail.🍽️ What to Wear:Please wear long pants and flat, closed-toe shoes for your safety. Long hair should be tied back. You will be standing and cooking for most of the class, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, and high heels are not permitted in Columbus State kitchens.⚠️ Allergy Notice:Nuts, shellfish, and other common allergens are frequently used in our kitchens.
