JCO Campground at Lee Baysden Pond in Chinquapin, NC will Host our annual Toys for Tots Fishing Tournament. A 22-acre private lake and campground. Camping reservations available. We are having a Crappie Tournament to help in the management of the lake as we are currently overstocked and so we can regulate catches. This will be a fun opportunity to Catch and Keep Crappie. Lee Baysden Pond is Catch and Release all other times.
BOAT Tournament Rules/Information:
Any trolling/paddle/Canoe/Kayak/ boat with live well. (Please Pre-register, Limit of 15 Boat Entries)
-entry fee $25 per boat/canoe/kayak, 2 person team or solo (Trolling Motors/paddle Only) and a new, unwrapped toy donation.
-MUST HAVE A WORKING LIVE WELL. Cooler and aerator works.
-Crappie Tournament (no size limits/small ones will be released in small ponds) TOP 5 Weigh-in as a group. Keep all for management.
-2 pole limit
-Artificial Bait Only. NO Live Baits!
-NC Wildlife can check boat registrations and fishing licenses. Be sure you are legal. Ticketing will result in disqualification.
-Be sure to keep boat and ramp area clear and park in field adjacent to launch area.
-Have your boat in the water by 6:45am Live wells WILL be checked prior to blast off.
-Weigh in will be held just outside the store/office shortly after 12 noon. The Fire Whistle sounds the alarm at 12 noon.
-Cash buy-in/payout prizes.
After the tournament you can fish the rest of the day for all paid entries.
**Per NC Wildlife Limitations, we are allowing paid entries to keep Crappie they catch and weigh in that fall into catch and keep regulations. All Crappie will be sorted to keep or release into smaller ponds on the property. This is a One Time Option. JCO Campground is Catch and Release at all other times. **

JCO Campground at Lee Baysden Pond has RV/Camper, Cabins, and Tent sites available for the event. Cabins will be decorated for Christmas starting November 14th through New Years.
