- Advanced Airway & Ventilation β Presented by Charlie Swearingen, author of Vent Hero & EKG Hero
- Expanded Speaker Series with industry experts
- Vendor Showcase β Featuring representatives from medical companies
π Highlight Event: Critical Care Advanced Life Support (CCALS) Competition
An optional CCALS Competition will challenge participants through preliminary rounds and finals, with a structured point-based system evaluating:
- Scene Safety & Management
- Clinical Condition Identification
- Life-Saving Interventions (e.g., Needle Decompression, Chest Tube Placement)
- Comprehensive Patient Assessments (SAMPLE History, OPQRST)

WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR ALL TICKET HOLDERS AND ATTENDEES
1. Waiver of Liability
I, the undersigned, hereby WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE HEROS 2 HEROS LLC, Beyond The Sirens LLC, and any of their agents, contractors, employees, owners, sponsors, staff, affiliates, volunteers, or any other entities supporting the event (collectively referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all claims, losses, or liabilities. This includes, but is not limited to, death, personal injury, partial or permanent disability, property damage, medical or hospital bills, theft, or economic losses arising from my participation or presence at the event. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I waive, release, and discharge all Released Parties, regardless of their own negligent acts or omissions or those of others.
2. No Legal Action
I agree that I will not bring any action, claim, or lawsuit against any of the Released Parties in connection with the event.
3. Use of Likeness
I acknowledge and consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken of me at the event by HEROS 2 HEROS LLC and Beyond The Sirens LLC for promotional or other purposes without further consent or compensation.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
NO REFUNDS will be provided for tickets, exhibit tables, or exhibit booths. NO CANCELLATIONS are permitted. Tickets and exhibitor spaces are non-transferable unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by HEROS 2 HEROS LLC and Beyond The Sirens LLC. In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, ticket holders may receive credit toward other events, a rescheduled date for APX, or other courses offered by Beyond The Sirens LLC.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HEROS 2 HEROS LLC, Beyond The Sirens LLC, and their subsidiaries, sponsors, affiliates, directors, shareholders, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, incidental, indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:
- (i) Lost revenues or profits
- (ii) Loss of business or data
- (iii) Damage to personal property, including electronic devices
- (iv) Errors, omissions, interruptions, or inaccuracies related to the event, program, or websites
Some states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages; in such cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Force Majeure
I acknowledge that this event includes both indoor and outdoor activities, and circumstances beyond the control of HEROS 2 HEROS LLC and Beyond The Sirens LLC may impact the event. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:
- Acts of God (hurricanes, floods, fires, earthquakes, storms)
- Civil unrest, war, riots, terrorism, sabotage
- Government actions, strikes, embargoes, trade restrictions
- Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies
If the event is canceled due to any such circumstances, it will be rescheduled to the next available date.
7. Purchasing Terms & Conditions
By purchasing, possessing, or presenting an APX Clinician Summit ticket ("Ticket"), I ("Holder") accept these terms and conditions. The ticket issuer may modify these terms at any time by posting updates on , which shall apply retroactively to all purchases.
My ticket, in the form of a confirmation email, is a revocable license issued by HEROS 2 HEROS LLC and Beyond The Sirens LLC ("Issuer") for entry into the event at Raleigh Executive Jetport at Sanford-Lee County, located at 700 Rod Sullivan Rd, Sanford, NC 27330. The event dates are September 19th and 20th, 2025. Issuer may revoke this license at any time without notice or compensation.
Issuer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or counterfeit tickets. Unauthorized resale, attempted resale, or use for promotional purposes without explicit consent will void the ticket.
If the event is canceled for reasons beyond Issuerβs control (e.g., government restrictions, severe weather, natural disasters), Issuer may, at its sole discretion:
- (a) Reschedule the event for a future date
- (b) Offer credit toward other events or courses
8. Event Conditions
This event is RAIN OR SHINE.
- Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old on the event date
- Valid ID Required: Government-issued photo ID must be presented at entry
- Noncompliance: Entry may be denied without refund if age or identity requirements are not met
By attending the APX Clinician Summit, I acknowledge and accept all terms and conditions stated in this waiver.
