$5 Film Fridays: Surreal Short Art Films Under the Stars

Join us at Painting with a Purpose for an enriching evening of surreal short art films, exploring the cosmos, fragility, and the human search for perfection in an imperfect world.

This screening will feature 3 short films:

- The Galaxy (1973) by Sabin Bălașa: A mesmerizing painted animation journey through cosmic creation and romanticism.
- The Fly (1980) by Ferenc Rófusz: Oscar-winning POV animation from a fly's eye—thrilling, disorienting, and profound.
- Life in Grey (2015) by Point Point (dir. Jodeb): A haunting music-driven short about millennial desperation and the pursuit of perfection.

Followed by open discussion, wine and light refreshments, and art studio viewing. Perfect for dreamers and art enthusiasts, and those who enjoy underlying philosophical tones in art.
