NRA FIRST Steps Orientation - AR-15 Rifle is an Instructor-led class that familiarizes students with the key aspects of the popular AR-15’s operations and safety. Areas of focus include major components and action, proper loading and handling, improved marksmanship techniques, cleaning and storage, popular options, choice of optics, and more. The goal is to instill confidence and competence in new AR-15 owners who may be unfamiliar with this modern, sophisticated semi-automatic sports rifle.

The course offers approx. 7-hrs of classroom presentation, cleaning instruction, and a 1-hr shooting session at a local gun range. Additional one-on-one AR-15 training is available if personalized assistance is desired. Strict firearms safety protocols will be observed at all times.
