UNFLINCHING 3: Black Trans Radical Organizing - Then & Now
About this Event
Join us for a community discussion on how Black trans folks organized in the past and how we are fighting for our liberation in the present. We’ll dive into Black trans radical archives as we explore what we can learn from the work of our ancestors and elders. And we ask ourselves: how has our organizing changed today?
While this event is open to everyone and all are welcome, please know that we will be creating a sacred Black centered space to hold our history of Black trans resistance.

Who is UNFLINCHING?
Unflinching is a radical Black trans & queer community project to re-home and recenter Black trans & queer liberation stories through art, media, education and oral history. Unflinching bridges the Black queer intergenerational divide through intentional relationship building, information sharing and love.
With all of our events, our goals are to:
- Build understanding and repair and heal from the past
- Build sustained community with intention
- Build radical social and political power
- Build solidarity with global Afro diasporic trans & queer struggle for self determination
