Belonging Beyond Brown is an exploration of the lasting impact of social, political and judicial structures surrounding Black students, educators, and their communities before and after the groundbreaking 1954 Brown v. Board of Education ruling. Produced by EdFlix Productions, Morehouse College, and the Morehouse Center for Excellence in Education, the documentary highlights the material replacement and displacement of hundreds of thousands of Black educators and the subsequent emotional toll of forced integration, while also celebrating the strength and persistence of Black communities.
