Music in the Circle: Dupont Concert Series (featuring RnB by Love Station)
About this Event
Save the date! Dupont's Music in the Circle concert series occurs every Saturday afternoon from 12 - 3 PM. Featuring incredibly talented local acts that are sure to make you dance, stopping by Dupont Circle on Saturday afternoons is a must.
On Saturday, October 4th, we will be joined by Love Station, a talented RnB group, beginning at noon! The Love Station began in the 1970s at Shaw University, where five young men shared a passion for music. Originally called “Touch of Class,” then “Super TOC,” we became “Love Station” by 1980. They pursued music full-time in Washington D.C., working with producer Al Johnson, who helped shape their "Simply Smooth" style. Years later, after losing two members, the remaining three of us reunited to keep the Love Station name alive, releasing their first studio album, Curtains For The King Of Love.
Love Station is sure to make you groove and dance. Enjoy the free live music and the fall weather on Saturday, October 4th!
