Join the team bringing MOCHA to life!
We're looking for passionate, reliable volunteers to help execute MOCHA: A Chocolate City Block Party. MOCHA is a summer celebration of Black culture through music, food, and art from across the Diaspora.
Whether you're from DC, the islands, the motherland or just love a good vibe, Mocha is where it all comes together, without the diaspora wars. We welcome good energy, good people and an experience you’ll want to be part of.

- Free Entry to MOCHA – All volunteers get a comped ticket to enjoy the event before or after their shift.

Setup: Decor & Activations (4 slots available )
Info: Help us set the vibe! Assist with decor, signage, and event activations before doors open. *Light refreshments provided during setup hours.
🕑: 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Setup: Games & Vendor Setup/Check-In (2 slots available)
Info: Support vendors and help get our games and stations ready for attendees. *Light refreshments provided during setup hours.
🕑: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Door Team Shift 1 (2 slots available)
Info: Be the first smile guests see. Assist with check-in and entry flow. *Includes 1 complimentary meal provided during or after shift.
🕑: 07:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Door Team Shift 2 (2 slots available)
Info: Keep the energy going at the front. Support evening check-in and crowd flow. *Includes 1 complimentary meal provided during or before shift.

Media Assistant (2 slots available)
Info: Support our photo and video team by capturing behind-the-scenes moments and helping tell the Mocha story for social media.

Breakdown Crew (4 slots available)
Info: Help with cleanup and packing down decor and stations.
