Join Artist and photographer, Arthur Fields, in a laid-back cyanotype workshop open to all ages! Using traditional chemistry mixed with natural exposure methods, this hands-on demonstration will cover the basics of cyanotype photography, including step-by-step instructions to create your own beautiful photographic works of art. This program is free and open to the public with all materials provided, so bring a friend!
Arthur Fields is a multi-disciplinary artist working in digital and alternative photographic media. Arthur's artistic research is based on self-representation and social media. His work consists of imagery collected through the process of data compiling using hashtags. While most of Arthur’s work deals with technology and social media relationships, he is currently focusing on his love for abstraction and alternative process photography. Arthur is currently Associate Professor of Art at Dallas College (DC) where he teaches courses in photography and design and is also a Board Member of The Cedars Union Arts Incubator.
