DeKalb County's Ranger Jonah is visiting Dearborn Park for a special nature walk all about trees. Learn techniques for identifying trees by their bark, leaves, flowers, and fruit. From the common water oak to beautiful American beech, come fall in love with trees at Dearborn Park!
We will walk 2 hours for a total of 1.5 miles on dirt trails. Wear appropriate footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a refillable water bottle and hiking sticks if you need them. Street parking along Deerwood Drive. Meet at the Dearborn Park sign near the intersection of Deerwood Dr and Creekwood Terr.
All ages are welcome.
