Alpaca Farm Tour

Have you ever yearned to get up close with an alpaca? Come visit our herd of alpacas for an experience your heart won't soon forget.

About this Event

If you answered “yes” to up-close-and-personal time with sweet, calming alpacas - here's your chance!

This remarkable experience will start with an educational and safety talk. We will then have the opportunity to join the alpacas in their pasture where you might be the recipient of their signature nose boop. At the very least, they will put a smile on your face with their giant eyes and curious gazes. The visit includes a snack cup that you can use to feed the alpacas to create a truly special moment. Alpaca photos and selfies welcome!

Check-in begins 15 minutes before the tour begins. (Example: For a 3:30 p.m. event, check-in at 3:15 p.m. to receive your snack cup and review and sign a waiver.)

Things to note:

• No pets can accompany participants on the tour. This is a working farm and the safety of all of our animals and yours is a top priority.
• Gates open 15 minutes prior to start time.
• Tours start promptly at start time.
• Gates close 10 minutes after start time. For the enjoyment and safety of all, admittance is not permitted starting 10 minutes after start time.
• Consumption of alcohol just prior to or during the tour is prohibited.
• We will be outside in open space with little to no shade.
• Water bottles are allowed.
• My She Was Yarn Alpacas reserves the right to refuse service if staff believe participation in the activity would be dangerous to either the visitors or the animals.
• Colorado weather can be unpredictable. This is an outdoor activity, and cancellations can occur due to weather or environmental conditions. If we decide to cancel an event, a full refund will be given to participants. In some instances, we may be able to delay the start time and continue with the tour. You will have the option for a full refund or can choose to wait for the delayed start.
