This immersive session offers:

• A historical overview—from the introduction of vines in 1655 to modern winemaking
• Insight into climate, viticulture, and vinification practices that shape regional styles
• Introduction to the “Wine of Origin” (WO) appellation system, ensuring authenticity
• Exploration of key grape varieties and wine styles, including coastal vs inland distinctions
• Discussion on sustainability, ethical trade, and South Africa’s burgeoning wine tourism
• Highlights of the Wines of South Africa (WoSA) organisation and its role regionally

Includes 6 curated wine samples, access to the WOSA textbook and online portal, and an online MCQ assessment. Upon passing, receive a printed WOSA Level 1 certificate, co-signed by The Beverage Clique Academy and Stellez Vine Pte Ltd.

Recommended for those with WSET Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent), though open to all enthusiasts
