ADU Fair for Bay Area Property Owners
About this Event
As California laws continue to make it easier to build an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) on your property, more homeowners are taking advantage of this opportunity.
Hosted by the Small Contractors Association and featuring Albert Merid, Assistant Director City of Oakland I Planning and Building Department, this FREE event will allow homeowners who are interested in building an Accessory Dwelling Unit speak directly with industry professionals and will help homeowners:
- Learn what you're allowed to build, how big and how many units
- How much ADUs cost and how to finance inexpensively
- Return on investment as a rental, sale or for family.
Come to the HUSD Theater between 10 am and 12 noon to meet a curated group of ADU industry professionals including architects, general contractors, lenders and more; hear informational presentations from industry professionals; and get expert insights from an ADU specialist on what you can build.
You'll also be able to walk through prefab model on site.
Before heading home, visit real ADUs that have just been completed by participating contractors, open from 12:30 to 2:30.
