Come join us for a special event to honor and remember the victims of the tragic event that occurred 80 years ago. The commemoration will take place at New Haven Green, in front of the flagpole. Let's come together to reflect, pay our respects, and promote peace in our world. There are 12,241 nuclear warheads held by 9 states-US, Russia, China, France, the UK, India Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea. The situations in Ukraine and Gaza could escalate to their use, leading to global devastation. A pronouncement from Hiroshima's mayor will be read. Speakers will be heard. We hope to see you there!
