Moonrise Meditation & Forest Stroll

Let's wander under the full moon's glow and explore the mysteries of the night together!

About this Event

Take a serene evening walk under the light of August’s Sturgeon Moon, also known as the Harvest Moon. In astrology, the Sturgeon Moon is associated with themes of resilience, longevity, and ancestral wisdom. It's a time for introspection, connecting with intuition, and letting go of emotional baggage.

Join Jamie Chatel of Arrow Tarot for a grounding meditation in the pavillion at sunset, followed by a twilight walk around Browning Mill Pond. This event takes place in the heart of Arcadia Management Area, where there is low light polution, aloowing the moon and stars to shine at their brightest.

We will meet the in the Upper Pavilion at Browning Mill Pond at sunset. There, we will gather for a meditation to pause, breathe, and set intentions as the full moon rises. Jamie will give an astrology update and explain the significance of the full moon. The group will enjoy a guided meditation and a standing stretch.

As twilight deepens, we’ll walk together in reflection, taking in the beauty of the moonlit pond. This 2 mile journey around the pond invites you to release what no longer serves and step into a sense of clarity and renewal.
