Snir's River Float

Come rent a kayak or canoe and float the Dan River! Snir and I love to float this section of river that is two hours from Raleigh.

About this Event

On Saturday September 13th we're floating the Dan River near Hanging Rock, NC! Expect to meet at about 12:00/1:00 (TBD) and float until approximately 5 pm. We will meet at the Dan River Company which is two hours from Raleigh.

The price of the ticket covers your kayak or canoe rental and shuttle provided by the Dan River Company. Please bring your own snacks, drinks, and other river supplies.

This is a 6.5 mile Class 1+ river, where we will see rocky bluffs, wildlife, small rapids, rope swings, and an 8 ft jump off crag!
