About this Event
In this workshop you will learn how to identify different wild edible and medicinal plants that grow in the fall. Lots of the plants will be ending their growing season and we will talk about how their uses and how they will progress. This is peak mushroom season and there should be lots of mushrooms to identify as well. Maitake, Chicken of the woods, Shrimp of the woods are a few of the many varieties that grow this time of year. Learn what mother earth has to offer for food, medicine, and more...
Class will begin with opening Qi gong exercises to help us get grounded and connected to the earth!
