Fixing the Fatal Flaws of Women’s Self-Defense

All self-defense training feels empowering, but how does what women learn hold up to real-life encounters?

About this Event

Do you worry or feel unsure despite taking self-defense training or being a skilled fighter?

More and more it's becoming abundantly clear that karate, basic self-defense and weapons training all fail to prevent women from experiencing harm and trauma.

Join Carrie Conrad of Beating Disaster at the Family Emergency Readiness Expo (1425 W Grand River Ave) for an eye-opening event focused on Fixing the Fatal Flaws of Women’s Self-Defense.

In teaching self-defense to women and children for well over a decade, we have heard story after story from women who have been victimized despite being trained, and it's painfully clear where and how the majority of self defense training sets women up to fail.

Come find out where your training might not be measuring up and what to do about it.

While drop in attendance for this event is welcome, registered participants will receive a $25 OFF coupon for our PREPARED training (online training that addressed the gaps we have found most all self defense training has) at the end of the event.
