Annual AAPI Community Summer BBQ & Food Drive

Join this annual gathering of Asian professionals and AAPI organizations to connect, network, and celebrate with old and new friends.

About this Event

Please Join NAAAP, ABL, ALA , SWAA, & HCCNC for our Annual BBQ at Rengstorff Park, Mountain View, CA. on September 7th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

We are inviting all of our community partners and friends to join us! There will be music, various games, and lots of food. It is time to get together to enjoy great outdoor weather, laughter and most of all great company. Come eat, have fun, meet new friends, and practice your networking skills!

This year we will have 4-5 organizations competing for the best BBQ and all the attendees will get to vote. If you would like to enter a team in the competition, let us know and we will send you the guidelines for the BBQ competion.

Cost is $20 per person for the early bird online registration for the event. Early bird and group discounts are available online. $10 for kids (4-10 years old). Free for kids under 4.

The BBQ will include chicken, pork, burgers, hot dogs, sausages, various side dishes, appetizers and beverages. We will have water, iced tea, and lemonade. You are also welcome to bring your own wine or beer. If you want to grill your own food, we have 5 Santa Maria Grills to use. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

We are looking for Community Sponsors, which will help support the growth of our Gateway Series that started in April 2020. As a Sponsor you will have the opportunity to market you or your organization on all future programs and events for one full calendar year along with partnering with our member organizations.

Come early to network or to browse our FREE leadership/career bookstore. There will be many classic titles for you to take home as a personal reference guide, for your group, or to start your own book club. While there will be multiple copies of many of this books, come at 11 am to get the best selection. The money you save on these FREE books can easily be more than the cost of the BBQ!!
