52 Hike Challenge MN Chapter - August Group Hike!

Join the 52 Hike Challenge Minnesota Chapter on a 4.7-mile hike at Whitetail Woods Regional Park in Farmington, MN!

About this Event

• Who: 52 Hike Challengers, Hikers, Friends+Family
• What: 52 Hike Challenge MN Chapter - August Group Hike
• When: Saturday, August 16 - 10am-12:30pm
• Where: Whitetail Woods Regional Park - Farmington, MN

• Trail detail & ability level: Approximately 4.7 miles. This trail is rated moderate taking approximately 2.5 hrs to complete, give or take. We'll be mindful of weather conditions before this hike to ensure everyone's safety.
• This includes temperatures, rain/storms, and any elemental conditions as they present themselves. If there's a cancelation necessary, we'll try to do so within 24hrs of the day of the hike.

• What to bring: Be sure to bring proper hydration! - Weather appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, raincoat (if needed), a daypack or similar with personal needs, the Hiking 10 Essentials, snacks, and a positive attitude!Due to a larger group setting, no dogs or pets allowed unless they are working/service animals

• Parking: Parking and admission is FREE! Meet in the Whitetail Woods Regional Park picnic shelter - Right in front of the parking lot.

Please note to stick to taking 160th to Biscayne to 170th Street to Station Trail or 160th to Blaine to 170th Ave to Station Trail. Google Maps may try to route you on varying dirt roads as the "fastest" route, but you will run into road closures doing this!

The parking lot is in front of the picnic shelter and close to the trailhead. There are bathrooms available.
