About this Event
From 2020 to 2024, ~200* Kenosha County residents died of an opioid overdose. Outside of our home county, 1.1 million people have died across the country from an overdose (2002-2022 CDC report). You never know when you might have the opportunity to save a life. An overdose can happen at the bar, on the bus, in the middle of your morning walk... really, anywhere, anytime.
Every soul matters — so join Soul Space to learn how to spot the signs of an opioid overdose, how to act quickly if you need to, drug safety tips, and more. You can also take home free Narcan, the opioid antagonist drug that reverses overdoses.
Training and harm reduction seminar provided by Caitlin Rhodes; free Narcan provided by Kenosha County Public Health.
