Arts Mount Holly Plein Air

Come join us for three days of creativity and community at Downtown Mount Holly, NC! The Arts Mount Holly Plein Air event invites artists of all skill levels to paint outdoors, capturing the beauty of our town, greenways, parks and gardens. Whether you're a seasoned painter or just starting out, this event is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in art and nature. Don't miss out on this chance to showcase your talent and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. See you there!

We’ll start at 8:00 on Thursday morning registration at Arts on the Greenway, and send you off to paint on location. Paint on Friday and then join us for a gathering of the artists Friday evening. Saturday morning is the last time to get another painting done before submitting up to 2 pieces for judging for cash prizes. The top 3 winners will also receive an honorarium and have their winning art replicated for placement in the City’s outdoor gallery for a year. After the awards receptions, the community is invited to purchase your freshly created art!
