You will have to purchase entry to the Apple Days Festival to attend this workshop

Your first step to metalsmithing; a beginner's class to making stacking rings. Enjoy a fun afternoon with your friends or loved ones by making everlasting 925 Sterling Silver stacking rings, designed and textured by you! You will learn how to use a micro torch and solder metal and learn about different tools to making a piece of jewelry.

What to expect for your ring making workshop:

-Classes will consist of 8-10 people

-Each class will be around 3 hrs

-Students will be provided the following:

-(2) sterling silver 16g round wire to make rings out of

-Detailed instructions and material list on how to make a stacking ring

-Tools to create their own ring textures and styles

-A ring box and care kit for their newly constructed jewelry

-Instructor will assist each person with soldering their rings since micro-torches will be involved.

Breakdown of class:

Instructor will go over the tools needed for the project.

Instructor will demonstrate a step-by-step process on how to make a stacking ring:

-Measuring ring size

-Trimming and filing

-Flux & Solder (assisted by instructor)

-Straighten & Strengthen

-Texture

-Polish.

Students will follow each step one at a time after the instructor's demo.
