Shoot in Suits is a private tactical training and networking event designed exclusively for vetted Executive Protection professionals.

Too often we hit the range in t-shirts and jeans—far from how we show up on the job. This event challenges EP pros to come suited and ready, working real-world movement and firearm skills in their professional attire (jacket required).

Event Schedule

6:30 PM – 8:15 PMTactical Range Session at Declaration Defense

• Come dressed in your suit jacket or professional EP attire
• Work mobility, draws, transitions, and movement as you would in the field

About the Hosts

Michael Blake is a 29-year veteran of the U.S. Army, law enforcement, and global private security. As the Founder of Offshore Kinetics, Michael brings battlefield-tested leadership and operational precision to every assignment. A former U.S. Army Sergeant First Class with multiple combat tours in Baghdad and Mosul, he’s also served as a law enforcement Precision Marksman and Team Leader, operating in high-threat zones like Haiti and at high-visibility events including the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Michael’s expertise in advanced mobility, executive protection, and tactical training has earned the trust of major brands like Formula 1 and Google. Trained by top-tier institutions such as ICON Global, Executive Security International, and Sig Sauer Academy, he leads Offshore Kinetics with integrity, adaptability, and a mission-first mindset.

Johnny Alvarez is the Founder & CEO of Phalanx Executive Protection & Investigations, based in South Florida, where he leads high-risk security, VIP transport, and executive protection operations. With over 15 years of frontline experience in executive protection, tactical security, and concierge-level asset management, Johnny specializes in threat assessment, crisis response, and discreet yet robust defense strategies.

Under his leadership, Phalanx has deployed B6-class armored vehicles—including Cadillac Escalades and security drivers—to ensure maximum safety for VIPs and high-value clients in volatile environments.
