Join us at Purple Star Winery for a cozy, hands-on baking class where you’ll mix and fold your way to perfect bubbly sourdough focaccia—and enjoy wine, flavor, and a taste of Red Mountain history.
Your ticket includes:
- A glass of wine or imported French beer to enjoy during class
- A full bottle of wine (or beer) to take home
- Your own focaccia dough, made in class and ready to bake at home that night
- A sourdough starter that’s over 20 years old, originally cultivated using grapes from Red Mountain
- A live demo and guided practice of the stretch-and-fold technique
- Instruction on sourdough fermentation, topping ideas, and baking tips
- A printed recipe + home baking guide
- Tastings of freshly baked focaccia and dipping oils during and after class
We’ll explore everything from fermentation timing to focaccia flavor combinations. Whether you’re brand new to sourdough or looking to deepen your skills, this class is for you.
