Alhambra - Free Native Milkweed Giveaway at Alhambra High School

SAMO Fund, the official partner nonprofit of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, is hosting a free narrowleaf milkweed giveaway at Alhambra High School!

We will be giving away free milkweed at Alhambra High School on August 2nd from 9AM-12PM at 101 S 2nd St, Alhambra, CA 91801. Every registered participant will receive a 4 pack of Narrwoleaf Milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis). We can only guarantee plants to those who have registered.

Narrowleaf milkweed is a gorgeous native plant that serves as a host for monarch butterflies to lay their eggs. Monarch caterpillars feed exclusively on milkweed leaves. Help us increase the monarch butterfly population by picking up and caring for your own milkweed plants 😊
