Red Hand Ritual
About this Event
The Red Hand Ritual is a ritual of remembrance, resistance, and justice held in honor of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). This sacred rite calls upon the power of community, spirit, and sacred space to bear witness to the ongoing crisis facing Indigenous communities.
This offering is not only a moment of mourning, but a call to action—to speak truth, to amplify Indigenous voices, and to align our spiritual practices with the work of decolonization and justice. All are welcome to participate in this act of sacred witness and commitment.
We gather with open hearts, unwavering purpose, and deep respect for those we honor. May this ritual serve as both remembrance and revolution.
Please wear red. Bring a lunch for after ritual. All adults and teens 13+ welcome with parent present. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
