Stride with Pride: Naches Peak Loop and Dewey Lake Wildflower Hike

About this Event

Join Queer Mountaineers for a wildflower hike at Naches Peak Loop and Dewey Lake. This moderate hike is approximately 6 miles and 1200' of elevation gain. We will meet at the Naches Peak Loop trailhead at 10 AM, ready to hit the trail by 10:15. We'll enjoy the wildflowers along the loop and a stop at Dewey Lake.

Parking is available 1/2 mile south of the trailhead at Tipsoo Lake with no parking pass required, or at the Chinook Pass Overlook Trail 1/4 mile north of the trailhead with a NW Forest or America the Beautiful Pass. The actual meetup point is the bridge over Chinook Pass, which is marked as Naches Peak Loop Trailhead on Google Maps.

Gear Needed: Day pack with 10 essentials, hiking shoes with good traction, snacks, water, extra layers, rain jacket, and sunscreen.
