Feed the Baby Axolotls & Make a Terrarium
Hands-on fun for animal lovers of all ages
Come meet our 12 adorable baby axolotls (plus our two friendly grown-ups!) and get the chance to help train them. Right now, we're socializing our baby axolotls and teaching them that pellets are food. They're used to eating tiny worms!
Pellet training the axolotls is super fun. You'll get to use a turkey baster to drop and pick up pellets. The axolotls will catch the pellets if they fall in front of their faces! If you miss, you get to try again and again.
Learn about how axolotls grow, eat, and wiggle through life while getting an up-close look at these one-of-a-kind aquatic cuties.
Then, stick around to make your own self-watering terrarium, complete with beginner-friendly plants and tons of decorations—including colorful axolotl figurines, tiny animals, crystals, and more. Your terrarium will be easy to care for and fun to design, with gentle, encouraging guidance every step of the way. The axolotls will be there to cheer you on! They'll spend some time in a special tank at the center of the workshop table.
