Experience an evening of bold, original music from the American South inspired by Downtown NYC Minimalism. New Orleans-based composer and keyboardist Neal Todten performs his acclaimed organ score for House of Direction, blending early American Minimalism with a distinct contemporary voice.

Mississippi-born, New York-based composer Buck McDaniel presents a set of compositions that weave Southern fiddle traditions into vibrant, pattern-based textures. Drawing on the processes of American Minimalism, his music is at once familiar and radically new — echoing history while pushing into the future.
