Howdy! It's me, Jack. Whew... Can you believe it’s been 4 years since we started this thing? That first one is etched into my memory because of how many "firsts" it contained. Everything in comedy was so new to me. First time hosting. First time doing 5 minutes outside of an open mic. First time producing a show. I was so excited to try and do my 5 minutes but terrified no one would show up. 60 people showed up and my friends (the real comedians) crushed it. Since then the show is always evolving and refining to keep things fresh and most importantly, the people entertained.
At some point the show became bigger than funny stories & d!ck jokes. I sarcastically started saying "Comedy and Community”, but it really is that. Once a month we gather, forget the outside world and laugh together with no rules. It’s very cathartic and always a challenge to pull off, but y'all make the difference. It’s not comedy without an audience. Come join us for a laugh!
