Join us for the official kickoff of the Choice Neighborhoods Working Groups for Irvinton Village and Near Northside!

In 2024, the Houston Housing Authority and City of Houston were awarded a Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to reimagine and revitalize Irvinton Village and the surrounding Near Northside community. In partnership with LISC Houston and local partners, this initiative centers on a community-driven vision that strengthens housing, expands opportunity, and improves neighborhood conditions.

During this meeting, we will:

• Introduce the Choice Neighborhoods Planning effort

• Discuss the vision, goals, and timeline of the project

• Begin shaping working groups that will guide the planning process

• Identify early priorities and areas for collaboration
