About this Event
Learn sewing basics with artist and instructor, Ronnette McKee! You'll enjoy a three hour hands-on workshop where you'll learn all about making your own pieces with a sewing machine. No previous knowledge is necessary and you'll leave with a finished piece!
This workshop is a collaboration with local artist and owner of Nia Grain, Ronnette McKee, the Hilltop Arts Collective engagement committee, and the Mid Ohio Farm on the Hilltop. Thank you to Ronnette for sharing her amazing talent with us and to the Mid Ohio Farm on the Hilltop for their collaboration and use of their space!
What you'll need:
- Sewing machine with machine needle (a limited amount of machines are available to borrow)
- Scissors
- Ball point straight pins
- Half yard of fabric choice (cotton)
- Seam ripper
- Spool of thread
