Join us for the Diaper Need Awareness Walk to support a vital cause during Diaper Need Awareness Week! By participating, you not only raise awareness about diaper needs in our community but also help fund Go Baby Go Diaper Bank in Sumter, SC. Your involvement makes a difference—let's work together to ensure every child has access to clean diapers!

Go Baby Go Diaper Bank (GBG) was founded by Taneisha Knox to address the critical need for diaper supplies among low-income families in the community. With no local programs available and transportation barriers for families, Taneisha and a group of advocates established GBG in the spring of 2021.

Since its inception, GBG has distributed over 100,000 diapers, benefiting families living in Sumter, Clarendon, and Lee County. In 2024, GBG became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization following a successful partnership in South Carolina's Diapers Among Service Hub, which resulted in a 41% increase in services from 2023 to 2024. The Board of Directors believes that no child should lack access to basic necessities, such as diapers, highlighting a significant societal injustice that affects vulnerable children in our communities.
