Join us for an informational session on the Sierra Club’s Wilderness Travel Course (WTC) - a 10-week mountaineering and outdoor skills program taught by the Angeles Chapter in four locations across the greater Los Angeles area.
This free session, led by WTC staff and course instructor Dave Meltzer, will give you a behind-the-scenes look at what to expect from the course, including:
- Course structure, dates, and locations Skills covered (navigation, snow travel, backpacking, rock scrambling, and more)
- Gear recommendations and fitness expectations
- Field outings and group camaraderie
