The spirit of jazz will soar over Big Eleven Lake Park on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, as the community comes together for “The Bird Lives! Take 3”—a vibrant outdoor celebration of Kansas City's own Charlie “Yardbird” Parker.

This free festival honors Parker’s enduring legacy with live music, family fun, and great food in a lively lakeside setting.
