Artful Giving: A Night at the Academy
About this Event
Artful Giving: A Night at the Academy, is The New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts first fall fundraiser with live music, local food, and an art auction. On Thursday, October 2nd, this new event will raise funds for the Academy’s year-round programming, exhibitions and will support new and experienced local artists alike.
The evening will begin with our Patron Party inside the Academy Gallery from 6-7pm with drinks, nibbles, and a first look at the art auction. The silent auction will feature original work by current and past NOAFA faculty, board members, as well as a variety of experiences to indulge your creative side.
From 7-9pm, we bring the party outside and the Been Around Band takes the stage.
Hop aboard and take a tour of our brand new Academy on Wheels, our mobile art studio, that provides free art enrichment at local New Orleans schools - you’ll want to sit down and create!
