Old Monroe 7th Annual Kayak the Cuivre

Join us for the 7th Annual Kayak the Cuivre Race in Old Monroe!

About this Event

2 courses offered, both starting at Heitman's Launch in Old Monroe:

Easy Rider: 2.5 miles total to Hwy 79 bridge and back

Bust: 8.3 miles total to Flatwoods (maybe Dalbow) and back

Check-in on race day is from 8:30-9am, race starts at 9:30am

There will be multiple categories and prizes for winners in each category! Finisher medals and refreshments will be provided for all racers and there will be an end of event drawing for prizes (must be present to be in the drawing). There will also be Kayak the Cuivre t-shirts and tumblers available for purchase. Also, be sure and follow us on Facebook for event updates.

(Racers MUST wear life vests and bring their own boat, paddles, etc)

Although “hosted” by the City of Old Monroe this event is not possible without the help of our yearly Sponsors and Volunteers, so a Big Shout Out of Thanks to them all!!!
