Owl Prowl at Oakwoods Metropark
About this Event
Join us for our Owl Prowl adventure at Oakwoods Metropark! The leaders are Kevin Arnold, naturalist at Oakwoods Metropark Nature Center, and Lindsey Kerr from Michigan State Univeristy Extension. We'll walk along the dirt trails, play calls for Screech Owls, Great Horned Owls, and more, and hopefully get to see and hear a few of these beautiful and mysterious birds.
Note: Reminder that you will have to pay vehicle admission into Oakwoods Metropark. The daily entrance fee is $10/vehicle, and an annual pass is $40/vehicle and is valid at all Huron-Clinton Metroparks.
Directions: To use GPS to navigate to Oakwoods Metropark, please go to 32970 Willow Road, New Boston, MI 48164. This address will take you to the entrance of the Metropark. Follow signs into the Metropark and follow signs to the Nature Center (it's three miles back!) If you prefer Google Maps, please use the link here. DO NOT go to the address in Belleville on Savage Road--it may come up if you search for Oakwoods Metropark but it is the incorrect address!
