Join Fit Houston, the Health Equity Collective and a growing list of community partners for a walk and learn in Kashmere Gardens. During this 1.5 mile stroll, we will learn about the neighborhood's rich history, community assets and challenges, and its exciting future.
Our walk begins and ends at LBJ Hospital, and we will hear from community health leaders including guest speakers from Harris Health and Northeast Houston Redevelopment Council. After our walk, we will shop from local vendors at the Northeast Community Farmer's Market, which is open every first and third Saturday.
