We invite local Scouts to join us at Great Plains Gaming Project HQ for a two-part, hands-on workshop designed to complete the Game Design Merit Badge with support from industry professionals and experienced game mentors.

🗓 Session 1: Friday, August 30 | 2:00–5:00 PM

Kick off your badge journey with an engaging evening of discovery and inspiration!

Session 1 includes:

• An introduction to board games and design concepts
• Game testing and analysis activities
• A hosted Q&A with local game designers
• A take-home Game Concept Development Packet
• Guidance through badge requirements 1 through 4 and 8

🗓 Session 2: Friday, September 20 | 1:00–5:00 PM

Return to bring your game idea to life!

Session 2 focuses on:

• Game prototyping using provided materials
• Playtesting and feedback
• Finalizing your game design
• Completing badge requirements 5 through 7 with on-site counselor support
