About the Event:
Caught between the Renaissance and Reformation of the 1500s and the Revolutions of the 1700s, the 1600s are often overlooked in public historical memory. However, the 17th century was one of intricate conflicts and far-reaching colonization that colored the worldview of the Pilgrims. Discover the turbulent events and fascinating ideas that created the Forgotten Age of War and Empire.
Speaker Bio:
Reagan Smith is Plimoth Patuxet Museums' inaugural Public History Intern for the 2025 Summer Internship Program. Hailing from Texas, she has a BA in history from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Museum Studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After completing her degree, she plans to develop her career as a museum educator.
This program is made free to the public, both virtually and in person, through support from the Plymouth Local Cultural Council.

You may bring a bagged lunch or snack to enjoy while you experience the lecture series. Our Plentiful Café is open from March 15-November 30. Lunch is not included in the ticket price.
