Info: The session will uncover how frequency, sound, and energy play a fundamental role in connection and communication. Every human cell carries a unique sonic signature; our hearts and brains emit frequencies, as do plants, animals, and even the Earth itself, most

notably through the phenomenon known as the Schumann Resonance. A significant portion of Lianne’s work is rooted in sound. Through her work, she became aware of the inaccessibility of sound and film-based works for Deaf and neurodiverse audiences. A pivotal moment came during a British Sign Language (BSL) tour of her exhibition, where conversations with members of the Deaf community sparked new questions around inclusivity. These sessions and focus groups will inform us how we can improve the experience of sound and visual installation art for people with barriers, prioritizing accessibility for Deaf, neurodiverse, and non-verbal audiences.
