Get crafty with bleach in this guided workshop where you'll create a cosmic-inspired tote bag featuring the sun, moon, and stars. This 2.5-hour class is a low pressure introduction to using bleach as a design medium on fabric—no sewing or painting experience required.
We’ll kick things off by showing you a finished tote for inspiration, then walk you through each step to create your own. After we've gone through the process of making an eclipse design on the first side of the bag together, you will have a chance to use the techniques you've learned to create your own unique design on the second side, or, you can follow along with me as I demonstrate a sun pattern.
By the end of class, you'll have a fully customized celestial tote and the confidence to keep experimenting at home. We’ll finish by rinsing your creations at the sink, and you’ll go home with your one-of-a-kind artwork tucked safely in a take-home bag.

Jessie Wilson is a local artist specializing in graphic design, painting, and handmade bleach apparel. She enjoys experimenting with new mediums to personalize her own style, and helping others do the same.
