About this Event

Shrednanigans is a 2 day grassroots fundraiser with emphasis on shenanigans and outdoor fun. We have wild races, fun rides, and pure silliness all around. Join us September 12-13, 2025 for a weekend in Cherokee, NC.

Opening night ceremonies begin Friday 9/12 at 5:00 pm with our Nanigans Run-River-Ride Relay, Bike Show, and bevvies at our local outdoor gear shop, BCO Cherokee. Saturday, 9/13 the party moves to Mountainside Theater with our Nanigans Block Party, LIVE music, Vendors, and More! Stay with us for a closing night concert and win amazing raffle prizes.

🕑: 05:30 PM - 07:00 PM
Friday: Nanigans Run-River-Ride Relay

Info: Course: Approximately 1 mile of pure shenanigans.

Start at BCO Cherokee.Run around to the River put-in. Hand off the jersey to the 2nd leg.

Float to the Oconaluftee River Island, tag in the 3rd leg, and hand off Jersey. Ride from the island back to BCO.


-3 man team

* Must supply your running shoes, flotation device-and wear a PFD, and Bike/Helmet.

* Support staff welcome

* Each team will be issued a colorful jersey to wear for identification.

* Create your team name


Race will begin at 5:30 pm

* Waves of 4 teams at a time, with a 10-minute start time in between waves.

* Equipment and gear must be in place and ready to use.

* Teammates can get in position at 5:00


Each team is timed individually.

* Timekeepers will be assigned to each team

* If there’s a tie between teams, we will have a Strider bike relay race in the parking lot between the teams who are in contention.


Prizes given to the First, Second, and Third place teams. Free beer or N/A bevvie for each team member.

Friday: Wheels & Thrills Bike Show

Info: Bring your blinged out bike to show off at the opening night festivities. Hosted at BCO Cherokee, there will be multiple categories to enter and win sweet prizes. Categories: Best Bling, Vintage (1990's and below), Frankenstein, Kid's Choice, and Best of Show.

Saturday: Nanigans Block Party

Info: LIVE music, food trucks, vendors, and fun to be had!

Saturday: FMT Spoker Run

Info: Ride Fire Mountain Trails, stop by designated stations to collect a card for your poker hand. Prizes given for Jacks or Better, the top hand of the day gets the ultimate prize!

Info: Local and regional vendors set up in our block party area.

Saturday: Kids Zone at Mountainside

Info: Tahnee’s Kids is bringing bouncy houses just for the kiddos! Fun, safe outdoor FOAM PARTY. Bring the whole family, grab your bikes, and enjoy a day of fun while helping raise funds for a new skills park! Don't have a bike? Thanks to Be Good Foundation we will have a few youth bikes available to play on. No weekend pass required; just snag a day pass and join the excitement!
